Released Norwich City midfielder Rossi Jarvis today revealed he has offers on the table as he looks to restart his career away from Carrow Road.

The 20-year-old academy product made five appearances for the Canaries last season under Peter Grant, but struggled to make an impression once Glenn Roeder took charge in November and the City boss decided against offering the England under-19 international an extended stay.

Jarvis has been in contact with a number of clubs, one of which he confirmed as League Two-bound Luton Town, but the Fakenham-born youngster is keeping an open mind as to where he will be playing his football next season.

“It was disappointing [to be released] but at the same time it's good for me to get going and if I wasn't going to get my career started at Norwich, then I can now go somewhere else and do that. That's what I need at the moment,” said Jarvis, who also had loan spells at Torquay and Rotherham after signing his first professional deal at the start of 2006.

“I'm talking to a few clubs and leaving my options open, that way I can see what the best deal is and take that one,” said Jarvis, who confirmed he had been in talks with the Hatters.

“I'm talking to them but there are a few other clubs I'm talking too as well, so I'm not too sure where I'm going at this moment in time.

“But I want a chance to prove myself, definitely. That's all I want, just a chance to go out and express myself. I think I had that under Peter Grant and I thought I did well, but under this manager, he was looking to use his own players.

“But hopefully I'll now get that chance somewhere else.”
