Young Norwich City goalkeeper Archie Mair – who has joined King’s Lynn Town on loan – has been named in the Scotland Under-21s squad to face Lithuania in the U21 European qualifiers.
The under-21s’ Group Four game is on Tuesday, September 8 – they are in third after two wins, two draws and one defeat from their five outings so far.
Mair is currently on tour with the Canaries in Germany, and will then link up foe the first time with the Linnets where he will stay for the National League season.
The 19-year-old joined Norwich from Aberdeen on June last year and has already played for Scotland’s under-17s, under-18s and under-19s.
He was twice on the bench for Daniel Farke’s first team last season, for the home game against Aston Villa and the final day defeat at Manchester City.
