Marshall, 23, made his only two appearances for the national side in 2004. He has been in competition with Allan McGregor for the back-up role, but the Rangers stopper has been ruled out by injury. Alex Pearce, who finished the season on loan at Carrow Road, has been included in the Scotland U21s squad for a friendly against Norway on May 20.
