The Canaries were unbeaten throughout their eight-game pre-season programme – but are set to be without Timm Klose and Alex Pritchard for their opening clash with Fulham.

A number of other first-team stars are unlikely to start due to pre-season knocks picked up in the lead-up to Saturday’s game.

Following the start to City’s Championship campaign, they welcome League Two Swindon Town to Carrow Road on Tuesday night, in their Carabao League Cup first round tie – before relegated Sunderland visit for City’s opening home league game of the campaign.
