The Canaries slumped to a miserable conclusion of their campaign in the Premier League, losing 11 games in succession and having to play the majority of those behind closed doors.

After a frustrating season of defensive injury problems, the Canaries couldn’t revive their fortunes but have since set about a total revamp of Daniel Farke’s squad - with 13 new players arriving and Jamal Lewis sold to Newcastle for an initial £15million.

The new season got off to an odd start when City lost 3-1 to Championship rivals Luton in the first round of the League Cup last weekend, without over 20 players for a variety of reasons, including international duty, suspension and injury.

All of those international players have returned unscathed though and are back in the fold for the trip to Huddersfield, who narrowly avoided Championship relegation in their first campaign after relegation from the top flight and have brought in Leeds coach Carlos Corberan as their new boss.
