Fresh from Madejski Stadium, Norwich City correspondent Michael Bailey dishes out his ratings following the Canaries’ 2-1 EFL Championship win at Reading.
James Maddison’s stunning 13th minute free-kick and Cameron Jerome’s winning second-half header, booked all three points – and left Liam Moore’s Royals equaliser a mere consolation.
Substitute Marley Watkins was sent off late in the game by referee Tim Robinson, following a reckless challenge – although one or two Royals misdemeanours went unpunished.

The win was City’s fourth on the bounce away from Carrow Road in all competitions and third in the Championship, maintaining their seven-game unbeaten run in league and cup.
Saturday’s game was the last one before the latest international break. City are not due to return to action until October 14, when struggling Hull head to Carrow Road (3pm) – little more than a week before the first East Anglian derby of the season at Portman Road on Sunday, October 22 (12pm).
