San Jose Earthquakes were today reported to be chasing the signature of former Norwich City forward Darren Huckerby. Although Toronto FC have the “discovery rights” to the ex-Canary, 32-year-old Huckerby is said to be visiting the Quakes next week.

Although Toronto FC have the “discovery rights” to the ex-Canary, 32-year-old Huckerby is said to be visiting the Quakes next week. He is also going to Toronto, according to San Jose general manager John Doyle.
“If Toronto truly wants to sign him they will be able to sign him,” Doyle said. “It's out of my control.
“He's an attacking, flashy, skilful forward,” Doyle said. “He's used to playing at a high level day in and day out.”
