• Winners – New York Compost

It was a long season but New York Compost managed to go through all 18 games unbeaten. Their record stands at 16 wins and two draws, with both of those coming against the runners up Hardly Athletic. Reaching an impressive 50 points for the season, they were worthy winners and by far the highest scorers in the division scoring 136 goals along the way. They finish the season with a positive goal difference of 99, having conceded 37 goals at an average of only two goals let in per match. This caps successive Championships for them as they won the lower division last time out, and have now gone on to win the top division. They will look to continue this good form as they try to win three seasons on the bounce.

• Runners Up – Hardly Athletic

Another strong season from Ben and his team with their second consecutive runners up spot, finishing seven points behind the winners. Their impressive season consisted of 13 wins from 18 matches, with only one defeat. They had the meanest defence in the division, conceding only 32 goals in 18 games – less than two a match! A positive goal difference of 72 goals sees them comfortably in second place, 13 points ahead of third, and being the only real challengers for the title. This confidence can see them launch forwards next season and aim to be top of the pile come the end. With several new challengers they will have their work cut out, but with the defence as solid as it is, I see another good season for this side.
