Norwich City have confirmed Norfolk businessman and staunch Canary fan Carl Moore has once again dug deep to support the club by helping to finance the loan signing of Reading and former England Under-21 striker Leroy Lita.

Mr Moore, who previously made a generous contribution towards the wages of Darren Huckerby when he first came to Carrow Road, is paying a substantial five-figure sum to help finance Lita's one-month stay at Carrow Road.

City Chief Executive Neil Doncaster commented: "Once again Carl Moore has made a very generous gesture in offering to help support Glenn's activity in the transfer market.

"Having already made a substantial commitment to help us bring Darren Huckerby to the Club, Mr Moore has agreed to make another substantial and hugely welcome contribution to the deal to bring Lita here on loan - and we are again very grateful to him for that gesture."
