Norwich City supporters are bracing themselves for potential injury news, after a photo emerged on Twitter which is claiming to show Ben Godfrey wearing a leg brace in London.
Godfrey received treatment during the first half of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Leicester, after appearing to land awkwardly as the Canaries defended a corner.
He managed to continue however and completed the full 90 minutes, despite also kneeing himself in the mouth as he collided with a post while sliding in to ensure a Jamie Vardy shot was going wide early in the second half - making light of a photo which captured the moment perfectly on social media.
However, an eagle eyed City fan has since claimed to have spotted the England Under-21 international limping at London Liverpool Street rail station, sparking fears that Godfrey could be set for a spell on the sidelines.
That has been linked with the 21-year-old posting two photos to his Instagram story - without any comment - which showed him firstly being treated and then bent over holding his right knee and grimacing, the same knee shown to be in a brace in the photo which has emerged.
That would come at an unfortunate time for Daniel Farke, with four games squeezed into the next fortnight during the festive period and with Timm Klose already out with a long-term knee injury which is set to keep him out until around March.

Grant Hanley could be fit enough to cover for Godfrey if the injury does turn out to be enough to rule him out for the next weeks, returning to full training last week after three months out injured due to groin and hernia surgery.
The Scotland international had hoped to return to training last month but suffered a minor setback. He wasn't deemed fit enough for the trip to Leicester but the club captain may now be needed to step in alongside Christoph Zimmermann against eighth placed Wolves at Carrow Road on Saturday.
That is followed by a trip to Aston Villa on Boxing Day before home games against Tottenham on December 28 and Crystal Palace on New Year's Day.
If not, it's likely to mean that defensive midfielder Ibrahim Amadou will again be needed at centre-back, as he was earlier in the season when Zimmermann and Godfrey were both out injured.
Attentions will now turn to Farke's pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, when City's head coach will provide his latest team news bulletin and Godfrey's situation is sure to be on the agenda.
Godfrey has started every Premier League game of the season so far, overcoming hernia surgery in rapid time during the October international break to retain his place in the starting XI during the defensive injury crisis.
The former Shrewsbury loanee is alongside star striker Teemu Pukki as the only players to start all 17 matches for City during the campaign so far.
Hanley recently spoke about his desperation to get back to full fitness to try and fulfil his captaincy role fully and try to return to the form which saw him finish as runner-up in the Player of the Season voting for 2017-18, having also endured injury issues last season.
