Our Norwich City player watch during Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Bramall Lane was centre-back Ben Godfrey, who came so close to equalising against Sheffield United.
2 - Jack O'Connell twice gets crosses in from deep on the left, first is scuffed and cleared by Jamal Lewis, second is better but Godfrey gets across to out-muscle Oli McBurnie and nod to safety.
7 - Todd Cantwell pass goes astray and Blades break, McBurnie holds off Grant Hanley, Max Aarons and then Emi Buendia, as City's players appear keen not to concede a wide free-kick, but eventually Enda Stevens has loads of space to cross and Godfrey does well to get back and turn behind for a corner.
11 - Alex Tettey skews a clearance skywards, McBurnie holds off Godfrey initially but ball bounces and City defender can nod it to Lewis, who thumps clear.
30 - Intercepts stray Lewis pass, preventing McBurnie intercepting.
You may also want to watch:
34 - Skews a clearance high and behind for a corner.
36 - Marking McBurnie and cut out of the equation as John Lundstram is given far too much time by Ondrej Duda on the left and whips in a lovely cross, which cuts out Hanley and allows Billy Sharp to power the hosts 1-0 up.

39 - John Fleck drops a shoulder to get past Cantwell easily on City's right, chips a cross in which Godfrey heads clear but Lundstram intercepts on the edge of the box and dipping volley beyond the far post left Tim Krul as a spectator.
42 - Godfrey holds his hands up in apology after getting a long ball forward all wrong, straight out for a throw, to the amusement of the home fans.
45 - Stevens breezes his way down the left, low cross turned away by Godfrey, Sharp is first to the ball to chip into the box, Lundstram's shot is scuffed, McBurnie tries a bicycle kick but easy for Krul to pick up.
57 - City tapping the ball around at the back, Teemu Pukki is robbed, then Godfrey nearly gets a pass to Buendia all wrong but midfielder manages to gets the ball back to Krul under pressure from Fleck.
58 - Lundstram turns sharply on the edge of the City box but Godfrey in well to block the shot, then played into a bit of trouble by Krul but goes down the line to Kenny McLean.
68 - Marauding centre-back Chris Basham drifts past Duda like he isn't there and then gets the loose ball back from Lundstram in the box, Godfrey makes the block of the Basham shot.
71 - City just about holding on to possession, Godfrey goes on a rampage forward and flicks to Duda in midfield, who is robbed by Norwood easily. Godfrey shouts in frustration at his team-mate.
78 - CHANCE - Buendia sends in a corner from the left, Godfrey wins the header really well, Henderson down to his left to save on his line, Vrancic can't force the ball in - with more than a hint of handball, so VAR may have ruled out from that point - then Josip Drmic is denied by the keeper and David McGoldrick put over his own bar for a corner under pressure from Drmic. Goal-line technology rules all of the ball did not cross the line.
90+2 - Basham intercepts Godfrey's pass but defender slides in to win the loose ball on halfway and get it out for a throw.
VERDICT: Certainly got through his fair share of defensive work on a day when the hosts were bombarding the City penalty area. Not to blame for the goal and so close to scoring an equaliser with a good header. Looking more like himself after shaky return to action at Wolves last month.
RATING: 7 out of 10
