Wymondham Rangers have a second bite at the cherry in their bid to reach the Norfolk Sunday Senior Cup semi-finals.
Rangers thought their cup campaign was over after a 2-1 defeat at Yarmouth outfit El Sol, sealed by an injury time goal. But Rangers secretary Andy Blowers was informed that El Sol’s victory would not stand in the Norfolk County FA records, which show that the match was abandoned. “I have been told that an El Sol player who was suspended came on as a substitute. The game will be replayed this Sunday at Green Lane, Bradwell.”
The winners of the game will travel to meet Marlborough, who won their replay against cup holders AFC Wanderers 1-0.
The other February 13 semi-final will see St Faiths, surprise 2-1 conquerors of Poringland Wanderers, entertain the Dog House, who beat North Walsham 3-0.
