Despite top scorer Richard Nicholls hitting a hat-trick for The Griffin they were on the wrong end of a 8-3 scoreline at Stowupland Falcons in Norfolk and Suffolk Veterans League Division One.

The Yarmouth local derby in Division Two (Central) at Gt Yarmouth Postals ended up 6-5 in favour of visitors and leaders Kings Arms Crusaders with the winning goal coming in added time. On target for the visitors were Kevin Johnson (2), Ian Ellis, new signing Leeroy Ray, Stevie Smith (leading scorer with 6) and Ian Timms. Postal scorers were Gary Bircham, Andy Fenn, Chris Larner, Richard Stokes and Ian Wynes. In Division Two (North) a Danny Hill double for leaders Mulbarton and one apiece from Carl Cooper and Dean Parfitt was enough to see off City side Spixworth at Mulberry Park. Alysham Black Boys accounted for Hellesdon by the odd goal of three. Marksmen for the home side were Wayne Coe and Darren Nichols with Darren Cletheroe netting for the visitors.

In Division Three (North) Kings Head Loddon beat visitors Martham by five clear goals. On target were Micky Breeze and Nigel Davis-Smith with doubles and one from Micky Broxup. Norton Athletic had a fine 4-1 win against NALGO OB at Easton College to go top. Richard Hunt grabbed a hat-trick with one from Rob Burling. David Youngs scored the consolation. Division Four (Central) leaders Caister had a 2-1 win over Spexhall Huntsman & Hounds thanks to a long range effort from Andy Gooda and a Matt McCreadie strike on the break.
