Almost nine out of 10 Norwich City season ticket-holders have renewed their seats for 2007-08.
At Saturday's final deadline, a total of 17,786 fans had booked their place at Carrow Road for another season.
It represents 88 per cent of the total of 20,096 sold last season.
This is a slight increase on the figure of 17,417 sold at the same stage last year.
A further 1,431 fans are on the waiting list, and if they exercise their option to buy, the Canaries expect sales to top 19,200 before seats go on general sale.
City director of sales and marketing Andrew Cullen said: “It means we are likely to have about 800 season tickets left before we reach our ceiling, so there is still the opportunity to join the waiting list or to buy seats after those on the waiting list have had their chance.”
Season ticket-holders wishing to change seats have “movers' and shakers' week” from tomorrow until May 29 to choose a new vantage point.
The first 650 on the waiting list will then be able to buy tickets from May 31 to June 6.
Those remaining on the list will get their chance to claim seats from June 7.
