There were convincing wins all round at the top of the Slater & Frith Division One, leaders Coltishall travelled to fourth-placed Horning and, according to the home side’s manager, they turned in a top draw display to romp home by a six goals to nil margin.

Second placed Gimingham also hit a half dozen at Aldborough Lions thanks to a Charlie Skipper hat-trick with other goals coming from Michael Reynolds, Ali Thurston and Wayne Cutting without reply.

Third placed Runton hit five at home to Ludham, with the visitors replying just the once. Corpusty and North Walsham ‘A’ shared the spoils and four goals. East Ruston swapped places with Haisboro Athletic in the table as a result of their 4-1 home win over their visitors.

Lyng put some daylight between themselves and the bottom two sides when at Worstead they recorded a comfortable 3-0 away win, as a result of this success there is now a six point gap between themselves and the bottom two.

In the Wayford Nurseries Division Two the most significant result saw Holt ‘A’ move into second spot in the table following their 4-1 home win over Hickling and there was a 2-0 away win for Cawston at Gimingham Reserves.
