SHERINGHAM WARRIORSU15 beat Holt Youth U15 5-0. Holt dominated the early exchanges, but the Warriors' back line looked solid, giving the Holt attack very few opportunities. With virtually their first attack the Warriors picked out Harry Stamatov who steered the ball into the unguarded Holt net to make it 1-0. Shane Cox was as combative as ever, and from one of his corners Jodi Norris rose above the Holt back line and nodded it into the goal. Harry Carrington was again in the back line with Tommy Bywater and both kept control of the Holt forward line. Jacob Knowles down the left was causing problems and made it 3-0 when he passed a defender and the keeper to fire into an empty net. Will Parker and Tom Harrison on the right were linking up really well with some good attacking play. In the second half Cameron Humphrey and Jodi Norris worked hard in the middle, Ali Burghall at left back was looking tenacious and began supporting Jacob. Harry Stamatov made it 4-0. Nathan Lomax in goal was in good form. Tom Todd and Josh Glister came on, put themselves about and had scoring chances. Harry Stamatov made it 5-0 when Jacob's cross eventually found him to get his first hat-trick for Sheringham Warriors.

NOTH WALSHAM DEVILS U15 lost 7-5 at Norwich United. On a sticky pitch, North Walsham got off to the perfect start when C Harkness scored within the first minute. The game was won and lost in the midfield, with the Devils surrendering possession too often. Despite being on the back foot, the Devils doubled their lead after 24 minutes when FHH picked up on a C Kerry lay-off and shot low into the corner. North Walsham were then caught cold when Norwich scored from the restart. Norwich equalised after 37 minutes. FHH immediately replied with a fierce 25-yard shot for the Devils to lead 3-2 up half-time. North Walsham took a 4-2 lead with a neat FHH chip from 15 yards. However, losing the battle in midfield was continuing to cause North Walsham headaches and Norwich scored twice in quick succession to make it 4-4. With seven minutes to go FHH scrambled a fifth goal. AJ Johnson dropped into defence and J Edwards into midfield. Despite some stout defending by AJ, Norwich equalised again following a own goal. At 5-5 with three minutes to go there was still more twists and turns. On 77 minutes Norwich cleared off their own goalline - pulling down the goal net in the process. Norwich then surged down the pitch to score past an outstretched T Knight in goal. The Devils were denied when a strike by C Harkness hit the underside of the bar. In the fourth minute of added time, Norwich wrapped the game up with a seventh. Next, a cup fixture at Hethersett.

EAST COAST WARRIORS U11 visited Holt for an exciting and close run game near the top of the table. End-to-end play characterised the game. Lee and Lozeau covered huge distances. Both went slightly wide several times and Lee hit the target, but was ruled offside. Full-back Wilkinson had a powerful shot from distance held by the Holt keeper before Brown dribbled in neatly to make it 1-0. Holt started the second period strongly, forcing a good save from Baker, who was unlucky to have it slammed in on the rebound by Holt's Duncan. Lee snatched the lead back with some excellent footwork. Again Lee ran the ball in from distance, lobbing neatly over the keeper for a 3-1 margin. Holt kept coming back. Several shots went wide of the Coast goal, while at the other end they defended against Othon, Howell, Lubbock and Lozeau. On the break, Holt's Smith cannoned past Baker to reduce the deficit to 3-2. With five minutes left the pace became frantic. Fine runs by Coast were matched by the home side, and a long ball fell kindly for Holt's forwards with only seconds on the clock. They evaded Coast's defences, and let off a screamer which would have been a fantastic goal but for the intervention of the bar. East Coast won 3-2, the game a great credit to both sides.

EAST COAST WARRIORS U14 continued their unbeaten run with a hard-earned 2-2 draw with Hockering. Most of the first period was played in the Hockering half, however Hockering took the lead when a clearance was missed by the Warriors' defence and a Hockering player rifled home a shot. Warriors continued to dominate, T Little was brought down just inside the home side's half and the free-kick was floated into the area by J Clark and turned into the goal by a Hockering defender. East Coast continued to dominate until half-time. In the second half Hockering scored when a mix-up in the Warriors' defence saw the ball loop into the goal. East Coast tried to get back into the game but it was Hockering who were playing the better football. L Davis made some great saves. With around 10 minutes remaining East Coast started to attack down the wings. With a couple of minutes to go J Clark made a great run down the left and crossed only for the keeper to get a hand to it and parry it over to the right. G Balding collected the ball on the right and crossed it back in where it was met with a header by J Clark to equalise.

Jake was rewarded with a goal, a nice left-foot shot into the bottom corner from a brilliant Adam cross for 4-0 going into half-time. Stalham's defence of Tom, Dom P, Kieran and Luke had to keep on their toes. However, Joel in goal pulled off two outstanding saves. Will, Aiden, Jake and Dom M battled hard in the middle and put some great balls through to the hard-working wingers Matti and Adam. Rylan and Ryan continuously worked hard up front to create lots of chances. Will had a good run, releasing Rylan out wide, who played Matti in, for a shot which was saved. The ball fell to Aiden who passed superbly to Ryan who turning beautifully, hitting a sweet shot high into the top corner from 18 yards. S Howell was in goal but could do little when North Walsham pulled a goal back just before half-time. L Goodrum and C Craske were kept very busy in defence, with North Walsham grabbing an equaliser just after half-time. HOLT U10 entertained Sprowston Lads. Sprowston soon went 1-0 up, but Holt fought back with a well-worked move. A neat pass from Jack found Terry who smacked into the net for 1-1. Poor defending and marking let in Sprowston for a 2-1 lead at half-time and it would have been more but for the heroics of keeper Joe who pulled of some fantastic saves. Holt started the second half well with strong defending from Ed and Bobby and nearly levelled when Terry was clean but denied by a fantastic tackle. From the resulting corner Sprowston broke away and scored their third then sloppy defending caused an own goal for Sprowston's fourth. Holt gave it 100 per cent and a fine solo effort from Tyla went just wide. Midfielders Alfie and Cameron had superb games and subs Kyle, Harvey and Sophie with some fine passing played their part and the whole team never gave up even when Sprowston added two more goals at the end to make it 6-1. MoM: Bobby Finlayson.

NORTH WALSHAM YOUTH U11 returned to winning ways with a hard-fought win over a good Colt Jags side at Millfield on Sunday morning. Walsham had the first opportunity with Josh shooting just wide. Minutes later Brad found a way through but put his shot wide.Colt Jags were always looking dangerous on the break and thanks to some good defending were prevented from taking the lead. Ryan and Brad caused problems in the wide areas. Two great crosses from Ryan towards the end of half almost reaped rewards but Walsham were unable to get any significant touch as the half ended in stalemate. The second half saw the home side applying the most pressure but Colt Jags always likely to spring a counter. Walsham were caught at the back and the advancing forward finished coolly past Jacob. A series of Walsham attacks finally resulted in Ryan claiming an equaliser with a well-struck shot from 10 yards. A great shot from Luke on the edge of the area was brilliantly headed over the bar by the covering defender and minutes later a goal-bound effort from Ryan was cleared off the line by the same player. The second goal eventually arrived courtesy of Brad as he slid in to touch home Ryan's cross. Soon after a third followed as their 'player of the game' Zak lobbed the keeper from the edge of the box. Walsham's fourth and final goal arrived in injury time as Ryan again finished well from close range for his second goal of the season.
