The national newspapers’ views on Norwich City’s 0-0 draw at home to Newcastle United.

Sunday Mirror: “The more likely winners were Norwich and manager Chris Hughton will be relieved that he has the abrasive Grant Holt back in the fold.”

The Mail on Sunday: “Fabricio Coloccini did not let his emotions affect his display as he helped Newcastle to their first clean sheet away from home in the Premier League this season.”

The Observer: “It was as well for Newcastle that Norwich were themselves a long way from their best. This was a match of very little quality . . . creativity was painfully absent.”

The Sunday Telegraph: “Home manager Chris Hughton might have regretted not starting with Grant Holt, who was not risked after his hamstring problems, but he was reasonably satisfied.”
