Angus Gunn admitted his pride at Norwich City notching another Championship clean sheet after their Bristol City stalemate at Carrow Road.
However, what was written all over his face was the nagging fact that taking just one point at the weekend was hard for the on-loan Manchester City goalkeeper to shake off.
“I’m definitely proud of it,” said Gunn, after City made it four successive league clean sheets for the first time in 16 years.
“All the games are coming pretty quick so it’s hard to think back, but in most of them we’ve limited the other team to not many chances and we’ve kept the ball quite well.
“We’ve not really had too much possession in those games but we’ve kept it tight and looked dangerous on the counter so it’s good for the team.
“It’s a good run we’re on defensively, but at the end of the day we want to win games.
“We come out of the game a little bit disappointed because we thought we could have got a goal in the end.”

The Canaries had the big chances at Carrow Road against their in-form visitors but couldn’t take them, while Gunn was called into action with one big tip-over from Jamie Paterson’s looping second-half effort.
“They did get in a few times but we defended their crosses well,” added Gunn. “Obviously with that one, he hit it off his other foot so it was spinning over me and I didn’t really know what was happening. But I kept that one out.
“The manager said on Tuesday we switched off a little bit at the end (in the 3-1 Carabao Cup win at Brentford), which is natural but we needed to put that right here – and we looked pretty comfortable in the last 10 minutes. They didn’t really break too many times.
“I thought we limited them to half-chances and we didn’t create massive chances either, maybe apart from the two in the first half. So it’s probably a fair result.
“Definitely the home games have been more difficult to break teams down than the away games, naturally – but that comes with football in general.
“It’s something we need to improve on, breaking teams down when they’re defending deeper. But positives come out of this too and we got a point, so we go to Tuesday at Middlesbrough where hopefully we can get something.”
