Norwich City duo Jamal Lewis and Michael McGovern have been named in the Northern Ireland squad ahead of two matches during the international break.

Michael O'Neill's squad have a friendly against minnows Luxembourg on Thursday, September 5 ahead of a tough Euro 2020 qualifier against Germany on Monday, September 9 - both 7.45pm kick-offs and in Belfast.

City left-back Lewis has become a regular for Northern Ireland and already has 10 caps at 21 years old, playing every minute of a fine start to Group C qualifying, beating Estonia and Belarus home and away.

That leaves the Irish top of the group with four games to play, however, those matches are against Germany and the Netherlands so going through automatically in the top two is far from settled yet.

Canaries back-up keeper McGovern has 28 caps but just one of those came in the last 14 games, playing 45 minutes of a friendly against Israel, having been number one at Euro 2016.
