Harry Toffolo came off the bench to help Doncaster Rovers win 3-0 at Plymouth in League One.
The Norwich City loanee made his second appearance for Rovers, coming on in the 55th minute with the score still at 1-0.
Shrewsbury remain top and unbeaten after a 1-1 home draw with Blackburn, with Ben Godfrey playing 89 minutes before being replaced laste on by Canaries team-mate Ebou Adams. City striker Carlton Morris also came on in the 86th minute as he makes his way back from a hamstring strain.
In League Two, it was a bad day for Sean Raggett as Lincoln lost 4-1 at Notts County, after having Billy Knott sent off in just the 28th minute, and Diallang Jaiyesimi came on in the 71st minute of Grimsby’s 1-0 loss at Newport.
In the National League, Louis Ramsay missed Woking’s 2-1 win at AFC Fylde through injury but Michee Efete played the whole game as struggling Torquay lost 1-0 at home to Macclesfield.
