Philip Heise was a late substitute as Nuernberg won 1-0 at Karlsruher in Bundesliga II, coming on in injury-time for the German side.

Meanwhile, over in the USA on Saturday, defender Louis Lomas played the first half of Tampa Bay Rowdies' 1-1 friendly draw with University of South Florida Bulls on Friday, ahead of their first game of the United Soccer League Championship Eastern Conference season on Saturday, away to New York Red Bulls II.
