40 – Pushes forward and can’t get around Byrne, Stiepermann can’t keep the chance alive. City win back possession and Stiepermann sends the ball down the left, to Hernandez’s frustration, who had come short, but moments later the Cuban wins possession with a fine spin and attack before pulling a low shot wide of the left post.

46 – Good work from Pukki and Hernandez picks up possession on the left, holds off Byrne and Massey, plays back to Lewis and left-back’s cross doesn’t find Pukki.

85 – Hernandez found by Mo Leitner on the right, attacks but cross is cleared. Same soon after and cross is deflected behind.

87 – Screams in pain as caught by Fox late but okay to continue, whereas Fox has to go off after treatment.

90 – Leitner plays free-kick down the wing to Hernandez, he passes back to Vrancic, who dummies and weaves into the box and wins a corner.

Verdict: Provided a threat but a game where little of his work caused damage to the opposition, before fading in the second half. Kept going and didn’t do a lot wrong but not a particularly memorable day for the speedy winger.
