The countdown to Norwich City’s return to Championship action is well under way - and we’re gauging the feelings of Canaries fans ahead of the big kick-off in our annual pre-season survey.
City’s season starts this Saturday in unusual fashion, with a League Cup first round tie away to Championship rivals Luton Town despite as many as 13 players being away on international duty.
That’s due to the season starting more than a month later than originally scheduled due to the three-month break during the previous campaign because of the coronavirus pandemic - with the second, third and fourth rounds of the League Cup all to be played in midweek before the end of September as well.
When that international contingent returns however it’s on to the big opener at Huddersfield Town on Saturday, September 12, who finished 18th and just three points clear of the bottom three in their first season after relegation from the Premier League.
