Norwich City midfielder Kenny McLean is being ‘monitored’ by Glasgow Rangers, according to reports.
The Sun claims Rangers boss Steven Gerrard wants to sign the 28-year-old – having failed to in a similar bid during the summer transfer window.
McLean, who joined City from Aberdeen in January 2018, has started four games and made four sub appearances in the Championship this season, scoring a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Brentford in October.
City head coach Daniel Farke put a firm ‘not for sale’ sign up in the summer, saying: “Kenny last season was unbelievably important and he has developed further. He is a versatile, all-round player.
“Let’s be honest, we have some players with great possession skills or finding a key pass or maybe delivering a set-piece but he’s probably our most complete midfielder.”
