A Norwich City player has appeared in court charged with a motoring offence.
Anthony McNamee, 26, of Geoffrey Watling Way, Norwich, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Winger McNamee, who appeared in court alone but has instructed a firm of solicitors in London to represent him, pleaded not guilty. The court heard McNamee, who said he had another address in London, failed to give the identity of the driver of his BMW car to police between the period of March 29 and April 26 as requested. The case was adjourned to November 18 for trial at Norwich Magistrates’ Court.
