A late header from Josh Dawkin gave City's academy side an excellent comeback draw against the Royals at Colney on Saturday. City found themselves 2-0 down early on before Richard Brindley cracked a shot in from 25 yards - a spectacular goal that followed on from a similar effort against Charlton on Wednesday.

City found themselves 2-0 down early on before Richard Brindley cracked a shot in from 25 yards - a spectacular goal that followed on from a similar effort against Charlton on Wednesday. Within moments of the second half starting, Reading restored their two-goal advantage - only for Brindley to repeat his earlier trip with another long-range screamer. And with time running out, Dawkin rose to earn City a good FA Premier Academy League point.
