Norwich City v Birmingham team news: Timm Klose one of five changes for hosts

Norwich City have made five changes for this afternoon’s return to Championship action against Birmingham City at Carrow Road.
Both teams have taken just four points from their opening five league games and are settling down after busy transfer windows.
Ahead of the international break both sides tasted defeat, Norwich falling to an emphatic 4-0 defeat at Millwall and Birmingham losing 2-0 at home to Reading.
The Canaries have made five changes, with Timm Klose returning from injury but new signing Grant Hanley among the substitutes, with Birmingham making seven changes.
Russell Martin is out of the squad altogether, with James Husband dropping to the bench and Marco Stipermann replacing him at left-back. Otherwise, Marcel Franke makes way for Klose and in midfield Alex Tettey and Tom Trybull come in for Harrison Reed and Wes Hoolahan, who are both among the substitutes.

For the visitors, new signings Maxime Colin, Harlee Dean and Jota all start after switching for Brentford, with fellow new boys Jason Lowe, Everton loanee Liam Walsh and Chelsea loanee Jeremie Boga all come in to the team.

Timm Klose is available for his first game of the season after shaking off his leg injury and new signing Grant Hanley is also available in defence. Cameron Jerome is over his groin issue too compete with Nelson Oliveira up front and all international players have returned unscathed. Alex Pritchard, Matt Jarvis, Jamal Lewis and Louis Thompson remain the long-term absentees.

Arsenal loanee Carl Jenkinson has been ruled out for around two months after the defender had surgery on a dislocated shoulder. Striker Isaac Vassell misses out with hamstring trouble but attacker Che Adams (hamstring) is fit.

Simon Hooper (Wiltshire) – Forever remembered for disallowing a spectacular Cameron Jerome strike, wrongly, in the Premier League. Took control of same fixture last season, booking three players.
