Exeter director of football Steve Perryman has revealed Norwich made a five figure offer for defender Dan Seaborne.
Grecians' officials yesterday rejected City's bid for the highly-rated 22-year-old - describing Norwich's initial offer as derisory.
“We had a written offer which was turned down because it was a poor offer,” said Perryman. “I can confirm that it was not six figures and there was no player involved. I wouldn't expect them to be back as it was a very low offer.”
Seaborne is in the final year of his contract at St James' Park.
