Jamal Lewis got 90 minutes under his belt as he helped Norwich City Under-23s to a 3-1 win over Sunderland at Carrow Road this afternoon.
The Northern Ireland international left-back missed the first team's 2-0 win at Everton last month with a knee problem and has since been among the substitutes but made just one appearance in four games.
Josh Martin - fresh from an FA Youth Cup hat-trick for the U18s which has teed up a Carrow Road clash with Manchester United in the fourth round - lashed into the top corner to claim the lead for City.
Adam Idah doubled that lead before the break but strike partner Gassan Ahadme was needed to make sure of the win after Sunderland had pulled a penalty back in the 73rd minute, scoring his own spot-kick after Lewis had been fouled as he ran into the box.
City U23s: Rose, Thomas, Odusina, Famewo (C), Lewis, Martin, Adshead, Thorvaldsson, Fitzpatrick (Hutchinson 75), Idah, Ahadme. Unused subs: Blair (GK), Lomas, Hondermarck, McAlear
