Norwich City Under-23s will look to get back to winning ways when they continue their Premier League Two season at Colney this evening.

The Canaries development squad will host Crystal Palace at the Lotus Training Centre, in a 5pm kick-off, with spectators still not allowed to attend due to Covid-19 restrictions.

David Wright’s youngsters beat the first team of Plymouth Argyle 3-2 in their opening EFL Trophy group stage fixture and then their PL2 opener against Reading 3-0 at Colney, bolstered by some first team involvement.

However, they lost 3-0 at Aston Villa last Friday when it was back to the academy core of the squad, failing to take their chances in the first half to leave them eighth in the early Division Two table.

Palace’s U23s were held to a 3-3 home draw by early leader West Brom in their opening game on Monday, conceding a late equaliser in a game which saw first team players Christian Benteke and Martin Kelly starting for the Eagles.
