There was little joy for the NPSS Security Services NEN League as only two teams progressed into round two of the Norfolk Junior Cup although there were plenty of goals around.

Gimingham led the way, at home to West Winch. It was all square at full-time at four apiece but Gimingham went on to win the tie 6-5. Runton won the all-league tie at East Ruston by a 4-0 margin. Goals galore at Norton Athletic where Mundesley were the visitors and at the end of normal time scores were level at 7-7, the home side then added three more goals during extra-time to advance into the next round. Stalham Reserves won the local derby at Haisboro Athletic by a 3-0 margin. Ludham and Caister Roma were all square at four all after 90 minutes, but it was the visitors, Roma, who went through 7-4. Worstead travelled to Haven Bridge and went down 2-0 whilst Corpusty’s trip to Long Stratton Reserves also proved fruitless as they lost 4-1.

Aylsham ‘A’s Slater & Frith Division One campaign kicked off with a win, when at home to North Walsham ‘A’ they recorded a 3-1 success.

Cromer Youth Old Boys, thanks to a brace from Ryan Sadler, head the Wayford Nurseries Division Two following their 2-1 success at Holt ‘A’. Cawston and Aldborough Lions shared the spoils and six goals and Plumstead Rangers were 4-0 home winners over Corpusty Reserves.

In the Knights Trophies Division Three there were big wins for Erpingham Reserves over East Ruston Reserves 8-1 with Tom Howard notching a hat-trick, and Southrepps recorded the same scoreline and their first win since they reformed with Adam Swift and Aaron Cornwall both bagging hat-tricks, at home to Mundesley Reserves. Trunch were 6-1 winners at home to Holt Colts with Liam Amos top scoring with four. Worstead Reserves and Plumstead Reserves drew 2-2.
