Glenn Roeder laid into his players after Norwich City's season ended on a sour note at Hillsborough yesterday afternoon.
City were in party mood for 45 minutes, determined that Dion Dublin's illustrious career should end on a high note.
But then it all went wrong, and City were on the wrong end of a 4-1 hammering - and a dressing room dressing down from their manager, who was furious at the manner in which his team handed Wednesday their Championship lifeline on a plate.
"That is why I kept them in for 45 minutes after the game," he said.
"That is not acceptable. It wasn't a case of just turning up here today, playing a game of football and going away on their summer holidays. They have been left in no doubt how angry I am with that second-half performance and some of them need to look at themselves and see whether they have a future here next year because I'm not messing around. I am not bothered."
Roeder is due to reveal just who stays and who goes within the next two days - and yesterday's post-match blast will do little for in his dressing room of a nervous disposition.
Roeder has steadfastly refused to give clues as to whose names are on his list - but admitted yesterday that his mind had been made up long ago.
"I have know for weeks and months what I am going to do - it might have confirmed in the second half who's tough and who is weak," he added.
"We have to change the culture at Norwich - there are too many players who are too used to losing and we need to change that and there is going to be a big changearound this summer."
