Our Norwich City correspondent Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ 1-0 win at Bramall Lane
Norwich City fans have been voting and here is Paddy’s verdict on Daniel Farke’s troops after a hard-fought victory against the Blades.
• Angus Gunn
Thwarted David Brooks when clean through after nutmegging Timm Klose. Needed to show composure in the final stages when two objects landed in his penalty area from the vast home end behind his goal. 7.5
• Ivo Pinto
Very little of the attacking urges we are used to seeing. Which in itself spoke volumes for his leadership. Knew this was a day for solidity and defensive resolve. 7.0
• Timm Klose
Another key part of the leadership group. Strong when he needed to be as the balls continued to be thrown into the Norwich box and the City defence were pinned just outside their 18-yard line for long spells. 7.0
• Christoph Zimmermann
Latest English lesson passed. Different player to the one who looked out of his depth at Aston Villa. Albeit helped hugely now by being part of a more settled backline. 7.5
• Marco Stiepermann
Blades appeared to have identified him as a weak link. Stiepermann responded however. Aerially dominant at the far post. Stuck gamely to his task. 7.5
• Alex Tettey
Made it clear on Friday afternoon, pre-match, his body can handle the workload. Further evidence served up at Bramall Lane. Customary caution from the referee but covered acres to plug holes and clear his lines. 7.5
• Tom Trybull
Looks a find this lad. Technically proficient but appears to relish the physical side of the Championship. Already struck up an intelligent combination with Tettey. 8.0
• Yanic Wildschut
Grasping every chance to impress now. Good against Burton in a second half cameo. Earned his start here and rifled home a thumping winner. Constant counter-attacking threat. 7.5
• James Maddison
Bloodied but not bowed. Booked for what the official perceived to be time-wasting in the aftermath of a strong penalty claim as he hobbled off saluting the away fans. Assist for the winner and tireless out of possession. 7.5
• Josh Murphy
Appears to be just struggling a touch with his confidence. Getting plenty of game-time but the end product is missing at present. 6.5
• Cameron Jerome
May be set for an extended spell in the side with injured rival Nelson Oliveira unlikely to feature this side of the international break. A backs-to-the-wall shift was right up his street. 7.0
City substitutes
• James Husband
Felled minutes after his arrival in an off-the-ball collision during the height of the carnage. 6.5
(for Josh Murphy, 61)
• Marley Watkins
(for Tom Trybull, 78)
• Grant Hanley
(for James Maddison, 87)
