Pedlars all set for cup clash with Gorleston
Another frustrating week for the players and volunteers at Swaffham Town FC.
The bitter weather put paid to the Christmas Bank Holiday fixture at rivals Fakenham.
The players did manage to train mid-week, a further outing to Lynnsport’s 3G turf facility, a chance to work off the turkey and Christmas pudding!
The freeze and festive coughs and colds also restricted the planned maintenance jobs at the club, thankfully the thaw at the latter part of the week allowing some preparation of the pitch.
Bank Holiday Monday sees the Pedlars welcome Gorleston to Shoemakers Lane.
