Norwich City’s goal of the season 2018-19 competition has begun, with fans invited to vote from a shortlist of 19 goals for the official prize.
Despite there still being two games of the season to play, the Canaries have announced their contenders, from a campaign which looks almost certain to end in promotion.
Third placed Leeds are six points behind and would need a big goal difference swing even if they can close that gap, which leaves City needing just a point from their final two games to seal a Premier League return.
Ahead of Saturday’s home clash with Blackburn and a trip to play-off bound Aston Villa on the final day, the Canaries have scored 89 goals from 44 league games, a club record return in the second tier.
There are a host of superb efforts to choose from as a superb campaign draws to a close for the Championship leaders, but we’ve whittled the official shortlist down to 10 which we feel are the main challengers for the prize.
• You can take a look at the full contenders above and vote for your official winner in the club’s competition at canaries.co.uk/gots1819, but we’ve narrowed down the shortlist to help you decide – and you can cast your vote in our unofficial poll below.
