Norwich City have confirmed their pre-season schedules for the club’s under-18 and under-23 squads.
The U23s will start at King’s Lynn Town on Wednesday, July 12 (7.30pm), in Matt Gill’s first match since being appointed U23s manager permanently.
They then have two fixtures as part of City’s pre-season camp in Germany, taking on SC Rot-Weiß Oberhausen at Stadium Niederrhein on Wednesday, July 19 (12.30pm) and Eintracht Braunschweig U23 at Hotel Klosterpforte on Friday, July 21 (12pm).
Oberhausen finished fourth in Regionalliga West during 2016-17, four points adrift of new Canaries head coach Daniel Farke’s Dortmund U23 side who finished second and with the best defensive record in the league. Braunschweig’s U23s finished 12th in the 18-team Regionalliga North.
The U23s will then form a Norwich City XI which takes on National League side Sutton United on Friday, July 28 (7.45pm), before concluding preparations for the new Premier League Two season with a fixture against Burnley at Colney on Friday, August 4 (12pm).
The U18s play their first friendly at home to Colchester United on Tuesday, July 11 (11am) before travelling to Kirkley & Pakefield two days later (7.45pm).
David Wright’s team then have three away games in as many days, starting against Northern Irish sides Dergview and Roe Rovers on Monday, July 17 and Tuesday, July 18 respectively (both 7pm).
