Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said his side will have to be wary of Norwich City’s courage when the two sides meet in the Premier League on Sunday.

United won their first game away from home in over 200 days after beating Partizan Belgrade 1-0 in Serbia on Thursday.

It was an Anthony Martial penalty which ensured Solskjaer's men picked up three points in the Europa League clash, leaving them top of Group L on seven points and ensuring they remain unbeaten in their continental fixtures so far this season.

The Norwegian has provided an update on his squad prior to the Red Devils trip to Norfolk on Sunday.

Among the players who remain doubtful for the clash with City is midfielder Paul Pogba. He was pictured arriving at Old Trafford on crutches last weekend, and will be a major loss to the midfield should he be ruled out.

The Frenchman suffered an ankle injury prior to United's 1-1 draw with Liverpool last weekend.

Alongside Pogba, United are also waiting for updates on Nemanja Matic, Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe with Solskjaer electing to play a three at the back formation in the last two games due to the limited options available to him.

England international Jesse Lingard made his return to United's squad in that victory over Partizan, giving Solskjaer a boost ahead of the game with City.

Goalkeeper David De Gea is expected to be fully fit despite not being in the travelling party who made their way to Serbia.

Solskjaer has delivered a warning shot to his operators, insisting they'll have to be at their best in order to conquer Daniel Farke's men at Carrow Road.

"When I watched Norwich's first game against Liverpool, I saw a team with a lot of courage.

"They were brave and played their own way and kept going. It's given them some great results as they beat Newcastle and Manchester City with a clear philosophy on how they want to play." Solskjaer told the official United website.

United have suffered back to back away defeats in the Premier League, with the Red Devils boss seemingly under pressure at Old Trafford.

"I hope we're going to stop them because it's always going to be difficult down at Carrow Road but we're ready for it now. We've got some players back.

"I managed to take Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] and Anthony [Martial] off after 60 minutes as they were out a long time. Hopefully, it will be a fresh team because we need to be up at our best to have a chance."
