Norwich City star Alex Pritchard could make his long-awaited comeback from his pre-season ankle injury this evening.
Canaries boss Daniel Farke has said the playmaker could feature as City’s under-23s take on Wolves in Premier League Two (7pm), at New Bucks Head, the home of AFC Telford United.
“To be honest we are thinking about it, not for 90 minutes but to collect some minutes,” Farke said of Pritchard’s recovery after the 24-year-old returned to full training last week.
“Just five days after returning to team training it could be a little bit early but, with young dogs they want to play and are a little bit wild, and sometimes you have to let them play. We will discuss this topic, it could be that he gets some minutes there.”
Matt Gill’s squad drew 3-3 away to Wolves in their last game, in a Premier League Cup group stage encounter on November 3, coming back from behind thanks to two goals from Todd Cantwell and one from Tristan Abrahams.
