Blofield start their season on Tuesday with an away trip to Hempnall, followed by the visit of Loddon to Yarmouth Road the following Tuesday (August 26). They are then at home to Wells on Saturday, August 30, in the Mummery Cup competition

Pre-season training has gone well under the direction of Darren Cox and Kris Harte, with several new faces arriving to join the majority of last season's campaigners. Many have signed, a few as yet undecided-always a difficult period for the managers trying to visualize how they would like their squad to look.

The first team have experienced 'friendlies' against Wymondham, Stalham and Diss which have enabled a number of prospective newcomers to show their colours to Paddy, Paul Nash and Sizz, but with the latter having to perform a full 90 minutes in defence because of unavailability of regular back four members. The Reserves have come through well in their two matches with Chris Stocker and Steve Titchiner in charge, the most recent a 3-2 home win against Sheringham Reserves.
