Norwich City academy scholar Kris Renton has signed a two-year professional contract with the Canaries.
Speaking to the club's official website, the 18-year-old said: "It feels really good to have signed, obviously with what happened last season with breaking my leg I didn't get the chance to do this earlier. But now the chance has come, I am absolutely delighted.
"I just want to get back playing and try and break into the first team by Christmas. This is a great boost because I didn't even know if I was going to be playing football again after my injury, but then to come back and sign a professional contract has been great for me, a really great boost.
"Obviously Glenn came in after I'd broken my leg so the management didn't see me play for a while. They've been really good to me and made me feel really welcome at the Club, and now for them to offer me a contract, it's just fantastic."
