Norwich City are reportedly hoping to sign Celtic striker Gary Hooper and Leeds forward Luciano Becchio before the transfer window closes tomorrow.

The Sun has reported that Becchio is set to leave Elland Road to join up with former team mates Bradley Johnson, Robert Snodgrass and Jonny Howson at Carrow Road with Steve Morison going the other way as part of the deal.

The Canaries are also set to improve their bid for Celtic striker Gary Hooper but manager Neil Lennon has warned: “It won’t surprise me if another bid comes in, but the answer will be the same.

“My main aim is to keep Gary Hooper here. We have Champions League football to look forward to, we are 12 points clear at the top of the league and we are still in the Cup.

“If he is wanted now in January, he will be wanted in the summer. Peter Lawwell is with me on it. We spoke about it yesterday. He expects bids to come in - but the answer will be No.”
