One minute of madness late in the second half saw City Reserves surrender a two goal advantage to Leicester City in last night's reserve team fixture played at Hinkley United's ground.

After an impressive first half with Keith Webb's side going in at the break two goals up thanks to strikes from Ian Henderson and Robert Eagle they seemed to be heading for their second consecutive 2-0 away victory but the Foxes hit back with two late goals after the Canaries appeared to take their foot off the throttle.

Norwich opened the scoring after just five minutes when Andrew Cave-Brown one of three City youngsters on international duty last week, won the ball before setting Dickson Etuhu racing clear the city midfielder in turn slid a delightful ball through for Henderson to side foot the ball just inside the near post.

Moments later Cave-Brown was again in the thick of the action with a spectacular goal line clearance after City keeper Joe Lewis was beating with a low shot from Chris O'Grady.

At the other end it was City's Ryan Jarvis who was denied by a goal line clearance but with 20 minutes on the clock Norwich extended their lead with again Etuhu finding Henderson whose cross was met first time by Eagle whose looping effort beat Leicester City keeper Conrad Logan.

Late in the half Logan made a god save to deny Ryan Jarvis while Lewis was not to be outdone making an impressive save from the dangerous O'Grady.

As Leicester looked more purposeful after the break Lewis again came to City's rescue this time to deny former Norwich City loanee Elvis Hammond.

Meanwhile Ryan Jarvis was frustrated on no less than three occasions by good saves from Logan but with 82 minutes on the clock and City seemingly heading for all three points it suddenly all went wrong after a clumsy challenge from Michael Spillane saw Leicester awarded a penalty with O'Grady stepping up to send Lewis the wrong way.

Sixty seconds later and substitute Max Gradel with what was his first touch of the game, stole in from the right wing after a mix-up in the city defence to beat Lewis. Deep into stoppage time both sides had chances to win the game Eagle for City saw a lofted effort come down on the roof of the net while Lewis made the save of the night to deny Hammond.
