City Reserves fell to their third straight defeat when they gave away a two-goal lead against Southend United at Carrow Road last night.
Ricky Martin's side made an explosive start when, after less than two minutes, Robert Eagle curled the ball in straight from a corner.
The Canaries extended their lead on 13 minutes when defender Mark O'Toole saw his free-kick from the edge of the box deflected past Nathan McDonald in the Shrimpers' goal.
Five minutes later Southend reduced the arrears with a solo effort from Peggy Lokando and on 26 minutes Matt Harrold nodded down for Foran to pull the visitors level.
Southend took the lead on 37 minutes when Harrold scored and it went from bad to worse for City four minutes later when a deflected shot beat Gilks.
Norwich pulled a goal back 11 minutes into the second half when Jordan Yong flicked on for Luke Daley to beat McDonald with a low shot.
But Gilks was powerless to stop Foran scoring Southend's fifth on 80 minutes.
City: Gilks, Bexfield, O'Toole, Brellier (Lathrope 85), Miller, Halliday (D Kelly 45), R Kelly (Cooper 76), Jarvis, Daley, Yong, Eagle.
