Fulham did the damage within the opening 15 minutes. Ismael Ehui, fresh from his loan spell at Scunthorpe, opened the scoring in the fifth minute.
Portugal youth international, Lino Goncalves, doubled Fulham's advantage on 13 minutes by finishing well past Joe Lewis in the Norwich goal.
City put in a more resilient display in the second half as they battled to get back into the game. However, Fulham's defense held firm and the Canaries were unable to make their efforts count.
