Yarmouth 3, Long Melford 0
After a goalless first half, in which Scott Woodcock hit the underside of the bar, and in which visiting keeper Paul Wood made some excellent stops, Yarmouth finally ended the stubborn Long Melford resistance.
Manager Paul Tong introduced his substitutes Mark Thompson and Stewart Roach after the break.
Thompson scored first in the 58th minute, feeding on Roach's first pass to shoot under Wood's dive.
Four minutes later, Roach himself made it 2-0: a Fernando Vide and Oliver Savage one-two helped the ball to Martyn Magee who flicked on to Roach who scored off a post.
A Roach header in the 90th minute completed the scoring, and the result lifted Yarmouth to second in Division One after Diss Town lost to Halstead.
