Dereham Town's hopes of making a major push on the Ridgeons League title next season have been given a huge boost with the re-signing of striker Robbie Harris. The frontman has re-joined the Magpies after a season at Mildenhall.

He started last term in prolific form scoring 12 goals in the first 13 league games before suffering from a niggling groin injury, later diagnosed as a hernia, which kept him our for the reminder of the season.

Dereham boss Matt Henman said: “Robbie is a proven performer at our level and will certainly give us more quality and depth to our attacking options. His style of play definitely fits ours and we see his signing as a step forward for the club.”

Dereham have an exciting looking pre-season with the visits of Norwich City, Histon, King's Lynn and Lowestoft all confirmed.
