Is prone to injuries but when fit van Persie is as good as any striker about.
Pretty much single-handedly won Manchester United the Premier League in 2012/13.
His absence for much of this season hardly helped the Red Devils’ cause.
RVP has a huge ego and gets unsettled easily.
But it’s clear he has a great relationship with Dutch boss Louis van Gaal (now United boss) and should flourish as Holland’s skipper.
