Former City striker Mark Robins was today reported to be a target to take over as manager at Carrow Road.
With Bryan Gunn set to meet the board tomorrow to discuss his future, one national newspaper claimed the 39-year-old Rotherham boss was top of the Canaries' wanted list.
Rotherham began the season on minus 17 points and were forced to play at the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield - but had it not been for that deduction, they would have finished in fifth place in League Two with a play-off place.
"It has been a magnificent season after the start we had and all the problems we faced," said Robins, whose team lost 1-0 to promoted Exeter on the final day.
