Runton continue unrelenting charge at top of NEN League

Most of the fixtures in the NPSS Security Services NEN League survived the overnight weather and the Slater & Frith Division One leaders, Runton, continued their unrelenting charge at the top with a 7-0 drubbing of Ludham.

Second-placed Gimingham were odd goal winners of five away at Corpusty. East Ruston won likewise at Worstead and Horning and North Walsham ‘A’ shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

A hat-trick from Kieran Amis, a brace from Daryl Harrod and one from Joseph Leah saw Cromer Youth Old Boys secure a 6-3 away win at Plumstead Rangers to keep themselves one point ahead at the top of the Wayford Nurseries Division Two. Cawston, who are tucked in behind, also recorded an away win, 3-1 at Blakeney. Holt ‘A’ moved into third spot on goal difference after they won 2-0, John Lane and Sam James, at home to Erpingham

Knights Trophies Division Three leaders Trunch went nap Harry Carrington (2), Ashley Clarke, Jack Crane and Marcus Smith, without reply at home to Worstead Reserves. Second-placed Southrepps dropped all three points when Felmingham turned the tables on them in the reverse fixture, handing out a 3-0 defeat and as a result of it put them into the top three. Holt Colts made it a double for the club over Erpingham when they defeated the Reserves 3-1.
