The second period saw Wells more in the contest. Frary had a good header blocked by the visitors' keeper but Cawston volleyed home the loose ball to the delight of the large crowd. A 65th minute a Wick corner found found C East who gave the keeper no chance with his first goal for Wells.

The visitors reduced the arrears from a Belton penalty on 75 minutes, and an 85th free kick saw Belton score the equaliser for Reepham.
